Parent Teacher Home Visits Implementation Study

This report looks deeply at how the PTHV model is practiced in four school districts across the country. The authors, nationally acclaimed evaluators from RTI International, reinforce the importance of the model’s five core practices as initially envisioned by the founders. They conclude that these practices should remain “non-negotiables” of the model and recognize that they are crucial to successful home visit implementation. They also highlight concrete methods that home visit practitioners have used to make their home visit efforts successful and to overcome challenges.
