As we prepare to start a new and very unique school year, what can we learn from families and educators about what’s most important to them? How does Parent Teacher Home Visits help build a critical foundation for relationships of trust?

Join our Back-to-School Webinar, “Relationships of Trust: Families and Educators Reflect on Gains, Losses, and Lessons Learned During the Pandemic” on July 28, 2021, at 12 PM PT/3PM ET for a discussion of these issues.

Panelists will include PTHV leaders Gina Martinez-Keddy, Yesenia Ramirez, and Rachel Brice. They will be joined by educators John Nachtsheim of White Bear Lake Area Schools and Chrissy Valento of  Lincoln Park Middle School, along with parents Valerie Solorzano and Kirinda Anderson.

Participants will listen to parent and teacher experiences over the last 16 months. These voices, as well as participants’ reflections on their own experiences, give rise to just how important building trust and meeting the needs of families and educators will be as schools reopen in the coming school year.

The webinar is part of our Back-to-School campaign, which features a new toolkitplanning guide, and blog series.

PTHV advances student success and school improvement by leveraging relationships, research, and a national network of partners to advance evidence-based practices in relational home visits within a comprehensive family engagement strategy.
