National PTHV Week

#PTHVWeek 2023!

We just wrapped the second annual National Parent Teacher Home Visits Week, a time when schools across the nation celebrate teachers and families for building relationships of trust. We launched PTHV Week in 2022 to kick off the celebration of our 25th anniversary, and the response was a resounding success, with districts sharing the stories and impact of home visits and encouraging staff and community members to participate.

This year, the tradition continued. Take a look at some of the gems that districts and supporters shared on the web and social media. 

Windsor Public Schools

Windsor Public Schools honored educators Sarah Scerra, D’anna Murphy, Jessica Hickey, and Emily Vazquez exemplifying the PTHV model, fostering meaningful connections with families, building trust, and promoting student success.

Windsor Public Schools Office of Family and Community Engagement District Coordinator, Christina Morales recognizes home visiting educators with a Hopes and Dreams Certificate for contributing to the 94 home visits WPS conducted!

Washoe County School District

Washoe County School District celebrated PTHV Week with awards and home visits. In addition, 50 of their educators signed up for PTHV training since the start of the new year.

The Washoe County School District Family-School Partnerships shared the sentiments of home visiting families to celebrate PTHV Week.
