We are thrilled to introduce the newest addition to the Parent Teacher Home Visits (PTHV) national board of directors, Cory Jones, affectionately known as CJ. With an impressive 25-year career in education, CJ brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for family and community engagement to our board.

Cory is the Director of Educational Equity in the Elk Grove Unified School District. Throughout his education career, he has not only taught multiple grades at both the primary and intermediate elementary levels but has also served as a site administrator at elementary, middle, and high school grades.

For some time, CJ has been known among peer board members for his unwavering dedication to the PTHV model. He has conducted hundreds of home visits, wearing both the teacher and administrator hats. He’s even received a visit as a parent, giving him a unique perspective on the power of these visits from all sides. He has trained educators on the model, too.

We eagerly look forward to his insights, expertise, and leadership as we continue our mission to strengthen the bonds between educators, families, and students through home visits.
