National PTHV Week is a dedicated time to celebrate the power of Parent Teacher Home Visits (PTHV) in fostering strong relationships between schools and families. This annual event highlights the positive impact of home visits on student outcomes, including improved academic performance, attendance, and overall well-being. The primary goal of PTHV Week is to raise awareness of the importance of home visits and encourage schools and communities to adopt and implement this effective practice.

It will help keep your team members acting on one accord to avoid some of the common hiccups of event planning, and it will point the way toward the strategies and tactics needed to sustain and grow your home visit practice.

PTHV advances student success and school improvement by leveraging relationships, research, and a national network of partners to advance evidence-based practices in relational home visits within a comprehensive family engagement strategy.
